My Latin name speaks of luminosity and fruitfulness, which are accurate descriptions, given the fact that I am someone who strives to light the path to the edge of another Universe, where courage, resilience and strength prevade. Perhaps this desire is linked to being a descendant of powerful conquerers? Who knows. I surely do my very best to birth words that gently touch and soothe as many souls as possible. I may fail miserably at doing so sometimes, but I’ve learned to be okay with having my weakest moments spilled out on full display.
I’m 23 but this number…
The person who does not state her expectations to the cosmos, often receives things of no use to her soul. Clarity of expectation attunes attraction.
Hendrith Vanlon Smith Jr
Did you state your expectations to the cosmos? Don’t worry if they haven’t been met yet. Instead of obsessing over the amount of time it takes for your wishes to come true, focus on enjoying this wild ride. This dance. This never ending pulse of trial and error.
Enjoy the mystery of life.
And most importantly, be willing to change directions from time to time. The entire Universe is working with…
I used to write poetry
As easily as other people picked up their glass of fine wine to toast at dusk
My lines used to flow
As naturally as the Amazon river unapologetically meandered through 9 countries
I used to live off of my rhymes
Just like farmers lived off of their seasonal crops
I used to be infatuated with words
Now I have a consuming passion to write
Which leaves me ravenously hungry, frustrated and dehydrated
Because my words no longer drip like warm honey from my fingertips
And I fear the death of my art
The inevitable suicide of this…
Let me start by saying that, if you haven’t gone paragliding yet, you definitely should. You do not have to be an adrenaline junkie — in fact, paragliding should not even be considered an extreme sport, as it is the most calming, relaxing, freeing activity you can ever experience. Before trying it out myself, I thought I would get an adrenaline rush, but oh boy, was I wrong!
The place where my paragliding experience took place was only a 35 minute drive from where I live, in a really nice, quiet village. As we got closer, I could start seeing…
I’m not in search of sanctity, sacredness, purity; these things are found after this life, not in this life; but in this life I search to be completely human: to feel, to give, to take, to laugh, to get lost, to be found, to dance, to love and to lust, to be so human.

Welcome to your final week of promptastic June! I hope you enjoyed the journey the creative prompts took you on — I sure as hell did! Ladies and gentlemen, you are simply the best. I will keep making sure you don’t forget that…
I would rather be ashes than dust! I would rather be a superb meteor, every atom of me in magnificent glow, than a sleepy and permanent planet. — Jack London
Greetings, beautiful, blazing meteors!
I hope you made the most out of your funtastic weekend. I’ve been wanting to write an article about meteors for a long time, but wasn’t sure how to tie it in with everything else on this publication. …
It takes a lot of courage to show your dreams to someone else.
We have high aspirations held within the sun’s palms, that we softly murmur about in absolute terror, expecting misunderstandings and criticism. We are used to people robbing us of our dreams, crushing them into crumbs, until all is left is nothing but ghosts of long forgotten yearnings. How does one recover from that?
I once shared my dreams with my father and he dismissed the possibility of them ever materializing. For years, I’ve kept my visions for the future hidden, which felt like a joy…
There’s as many atoms in a single molecule of your DNA as there are stars in the typical galaxy. We are, each of us, a little universe.
Neil deGrasse Tyson
Welcome to your Stellar Story Collection, also known as Weekly Masterpieces 2.0. Today we’ll be exploring galaxies! Why? Because writers are heavenly bodies illuminating the sky for readers, dimming their fears by teaching, guiding and reminding them they’re made of star stuff and that it’s safe to inhale, capture and experience their multi-dimensionality — to inhabit the fullest version of themselves.
Today is all about embodying our stelliferous self. Are…
I can’t believe they didn’t tell you!
I find it extremely hard to believe they forgot to mention such a crucial aspect.
How foolish of them!
I am startled that they allowed you to get away without a warning.
How could they have possibly forgotten to let you know that hiding your true self robs you of the real healing journey and empowering lessons in life? Of experiencing the full, brilliant expression of YOU?
How could they have avoided telling you that remaining addicted to the same repeating narrative, trauma and pain blocks you from reaching a deeper…
Like attracts like, we all know this to be true. It’s a basic law based on energy, vibration, chemistry or whatever you want to call it. It is a re-affirmation of what we believe, both consciously and unconsciously. We’re all becoming more accepting of the fact that who we attract in our life is, in one way or another, a reflection of us. But is that all there is to this whole attraction thing?
Talking to my hairdresser today, a wonderful lady who has the pleasure of dealing with a great variety of people every day, I realized (well, she…
